When i purchased her the owner stated that she was already pregnant and due anytime... And when I bought her she was obviously pregnant. Stretchy skin, fat, and has the obvious outline of the eggs in her stomach. She was purchased about 4 weeks ago... So there’s the 4 weeks plus the in between time for when she was pregnant and w. her original owner. Ans shes still not giving birth! Iv been watching her day and night, Her behavior is fine, appetite is fine, shedding fine. Everything’s fine. Yet it’s prob been carrying the eggs for like 5ish weeks. What do I do? Is something wrong? What should I look out for? How much longer should I wait? |

I’ve seen several hold their eggs for around 7 weeks and then lay. Are you providing her all the hides (humid hide, in particular) she needs and spot on temps for her? If you see her straining with nothing happening for an extended amount of time or she prolapses, she needs to go to the vet asap. |

any pregnant Leopard Gecko should need. She has not only a day heat lamp but a nocturnal night time lamp. She is also provided a lay box which I keep moist and humid. And she’s also provided a heating pad. And shes been acting normal. No straining, eats normally, sheds normally, potty’s normal, sleeps during day active at night. But I’ll continue watching her and wait til 7 weeks. Thank you :) |
