 Gargoyle tank question

12x12x18 for one. It is okay to put it on its side like that if you don’t care how it looks.

 Gargoyle tank question

to put it up on it’s side, (if its a regular tank with a screen cover), go pick up some hinges from home depot or something and some silicon sealant (5 bucks for a giant tube i believe) just glue the hinges to the screen with the sealant than the next day when its dried glue the other part of the hinges to the tank. let that dry, then the next day you should be able to open and close like a door, get something to put under the tank so the door can swing and then use the sealant to stick on a latch at the top and bottom (hook and eye latch, also at home depot)

 Gargoyle tank question

A 12x12x18 is only about 11.5 gallons. That would be just fine for one gargoyle gecko. Also, it’s not necessary to have a taller tank for gargoyles. They aren’t nearly as arboreal as the crested geckos or other Rhacodactylus and enjoy being on lower branches. A 10 gallon sitting normally would suffice.
