New to Cresties, I have a question :)

Hi guys!! I recently moved my ball python up to a bigger tank and I decided to research getting new baby to fill the now empty tank, I’ve decided on a Crestie!! I have a lot of the stuff I would need already but I have a question!

I have a 20 long, I know they like taller things so I’m going to compensate by giving him/her lots of climbing and hiding things, but I’d like to know what wattage of bulb I would need to create enough heat? How hot should the hottest spot be?

Thanks a lot!
Mariah

How warm/cool is your house kept at? I dont keep any source of light/heat for mine at all. They are nocturnal so no real need for basking or UVB bulb of any sort. My house is 68-75 year round so no real need for heat source either. The ideal temp for them to be kept at would be 72-82F. Do not let the temp dip too low below 72 and anything hotter than 82 is not good.

I applaud your choice in reptile ;D
