 Cage size?

I plan on getting a Crested gecko in a few weeks, and I’m curious towards the cage size. Right now, I have an 18x18x18 Exo-Terra cage. (I bought it a few years back).

My question is if the 18x18x18 is good for one Crested gecko, or if I should buy the 18x18x24 (for more vertical-ness)? I know that Cresties require an arboreal habitat, but I’m not sure if the 6 more inches from the 18x18x24 is worth it.

Thanks in advance!

That cage size sounds perfectly fine. Especially for just one. I just bought about a 5 month old and it is just in a regular 10 gallon aquarium (i plan on updating cage when i can acquire some money since exo terras are quite expensive). Just be sure to put plenty of climbing materials like hanging plants and branches which will make up for the 6 inches of lost vertical-ness!
