Really really concerned... 
Hello all. Im getting 2 new Cresties from my friend in Ohio. He bred them himself and ge sent them out yesterday(I live in NJ). Any packages in my area are usually delievered by noon..1:30 the latest. Ive been up since 10:30am, and my sister has been up since 9:30am and Im really concerned they wont be here today(as Im typing this, its 3:40pm). If so, what are the chances of something bad happening if they are in the post office until tomorrow? Im really worried. The geckos are a couple months old, in a packed box with a cool pack. I dont know the company he used to ship them, so I cant even call the place. Thanks for any help....

Maybe try calling your friend? and see when he sent them, maybe they are just late and will be there later.

Jes at work at the moment, and I dont have his number anyway, we mainly communicate through IM. but have been friends a long time. Gah, I hope theyll be ok. Its almost 6:30 here and all post offices are closed at 5. So i dont know what to do, I hope theyll be ok until tomorrow. Thanks for your help...

see this is the reason why you get all that info before or right after they send them and have a way other than e-mail/im to contact them... they should be ok but theres no guarentee especially since im guessing they didnt send them next day air

My friend sent them overnight shipping from United States Post Service..They were supposed to be at my house at noon, GUARENTEED according to the mailing package. I just hope theyll be on until tomorrow. Since thats when theyd most likely come, eventhough they should have been here t noon today....Im just really worried. The weather has ben pretty cool here in NJ, so that someone kills the risk of over heating. But im just praying theyll be ok and stuff...

overnight mail by the usps all depends on the time the package is brought to the post ofice.. if he didnt bring it in before the truck left for next day mail then it waits till tomorrow.. i had that issue with leos in the middle of winter 2 years ago... luckily we have a 24hour usps office about 45 mins away and so me and mom intercepted them there at about 1:30-2 am after running around calling a bazillion and a half people and getting things straightened out

oh and ending to that... both leos were fine and happy and alert where me and mom were just about dead... no to mention getting home about 2:30-3 ish and having to get up at 6 for work the next morning.. fun times

Ok..Well, I called my local USPS store, I got nothing. And I cant leave my house right now even if I wanted to. Tomorrow its going to be low 70’s...So temperature isnt my biggest concern. But thats the thing, other than stress and temps, what other problem can be threatening with them being in a post office over night? thanks for all your help. If they dont come tomorrow by 3 o’clock, Im going to the office. Thanks again.

Well I am happy to announce the little guys got her today.....at 8:30AM, but they got here atleast. Lol. They are alert and hopping about in their new tanks. Smudge and Pudge are the names. :)Thanks for anyone who helpedwith my questions, as I am now worry free.
Ill get pictures up once they settle a bit....:)
