Update 
Well my new crestie started eating... ALOT. I took him out of the cage for the second time (first was quick with just a few pics.) and decided to see how he would like eating from my fingertips. He apparently loved it, as he ate more CGD than I ever though he could! Must be from not eating over the weekend... He is eating in his cage as well, but I was wondering if feeding him outside of the cage would make him expect it daily, to the point were he would not eat from the bowl? anything to worry about there?

If he gets used to eating from your hand then yes he will get used to it and chances are he might not want food from a bowl.Maybe try just feeding him once and a while out of your hand so he doesn’t get it all the time and will eat out of a bowl =)
