 YEAY...First Clutch:)

I was gonna post this when She was laying, but it slipt my mind. At the beginning of June, I put my female Oya, very nice high contrast harley, with my male Wulbari, grey dalmation that turns a deep chocolate when sleeping. On the 27th of July at around noon, Oya layed her first clutch with me (her breeder sold me to her thing she was a male, got a good price for her but who knows what may have happened). She started pretty late, since she was laying during the day and not at night, I think she was trying to find a good spot to dig. The good thing about that is that I got to watch her lay the eggs.

Such an exciting event, that when I moved the eggs into the container, thats all my family talked about for the last couple of days. Now I’m keeping the "twins" in a plastic container in perlite. I think the ratio by weight is 2:3 water to perlite, with the total weight after eggs being 192g. Just wondering if that is good. the temps varying between 74-80 degrees F.

Gotta go, and HURRAY FOR EGGS!!!
