You’re not giving much info. How many leos? What are the genders? How big is/are the tank/s? How do you generally set up the tanks? Do you provide a lay box? Pictures at all?

Grats on breeding the cresties and gargs, btw.

 I NEED HELP!!!!!

It’s supposed to be 10 gallons a leo, so putting six (5 fems and 1 male) in a 40 at one time may be overloading the tank and stressing the lizards a little. It would be better to buy a second tank for the females and split them up, give them more space. Two in one, three in the other. Then you can have a male in either tank at one time. It would also be easier to tell which male is responsible for which eggs that way.

Keep the males in longer as well. A few days to a week, then take the males out completely for a few days to give the females some rest. Once some become gravid, keep the males out indefinitely until next season.

There’s a chance that swapping males every few days could also be screwing you up. If one male smells the scents left behind by the other, he may engaged in a territorial mode - protect the harem and all that - and therefore too distracted to get laid.

So to sum that up: more space, and more time for the males. It would also be better to have a male per tank, instead of switching them out every two days - should you get the second tank to split up the fems.
