 Wild caought house gecko pregnant!!!!!!!!

I went to florida and i got three house gecko’s. It appears today that the female has 2 huge eggs inside her. How long does it take for the eggs to hatch, and do i need a incubator? Any other info appreciated.

I’d let it go back into the wild. WC animals, especially those that are not long term captives have a tendancy to reabsorb their eggs, or die.

are you sure you have all the temps right? you shouldnt let the eggs hatch. you will have more of them that are not native to illinois. and if they get out they will die. so i wouldnt let them hatch at all.

If it’s an indopacific house gecko your going to end up with more and more because they don’t need to breed to have babies.Id keep it as a long term captive and do some research before you pay any attention to the eggs.House geckos can make an interesting pet,but you may not want a colony down the road one to start with...
