 New paranoid snake owner.

So me and my husband recently adopted a 2 month old cornsnake from a pet store. Against my better judgement we chose the pets tore snake because our son really liked that particular one. Sadly upon getting the snake home we discovered he had snake mites. We treated the cage with NIX as PAM isn’t available in Canada as far as I can tell. We are treating the snake with daily baths which start as spring water then we add betadine to treat any mite bites he may have. He ate 2 pinkies yesterday and is just today starting blue phase he seems pretty content despite the mites and shedding at least by looking at him since he can’t be handled right now. I guess mostly I’m curious how long it takes time get rid of mites. As he is our only reptile we don’t have to be worried about any other animals. Also how long until he fully sheds after his eyes clear up. He has a dead mite stuck in his eye fold (not sure that’s the right term for it). Should I raise humidity to help him shed?
