 Sick snake

I have a ribbon snake that is acting very sick. He is very lethargic and looks bloated. When I reached into the tank to change his water this morning he didn’t move, when every other time I would put my hand in the tank he would scramble for the nearest hiding spot. I tried picking him up and he just barely moved away from me. Is there anything I can do for him or would the best coarse of action be euthanization?

Could be inpacted, or your "he" might be a "she". How long have you owned the animal?
