 HELP MEH PLEASE IM NOOB >_<

ok so i want to go out to my ravine to go catch a garter, i know they are there because i have seen them before. I need to know things like: hiding places, time of day they come out at, what time of year(now i suppose:P), how to grab them etc.

PS im not ceeping it because my mom would kill me

first... you might not want to disrupt their habitat..
and also their not poisonous just pick them up.
