If you want anoles go look at the care sheet in the anole forum it can tell you all you need for a habitat. My anole is in a 10 gallon aquarium with a screen lid, organic potting soil substrate with 4 tropical plants in it. I use a uva/uvb basking light on it. My bullfrog is in a separate 10 gallon tank that I divided with a piece of plexiglass secured with silicon (takes about 2 weeks to set). On the water side I have river rocks purchased from petsmart with a small filter and on the land side I have organic potting soil substrate with a wood "cave" and some fake vines that suction cup to the side of the tank. For the lid I used a standard aquarium lid with only one fluorescent light on one side. It holds the heat and humidity perfectly. All the fire belly toad habitats I have seen were mostly water, not very deep with rocks and such for them to get out of the water on. Hope that helps. |
