 Sunlight or Shade?

Just wondering if my african dwarf frogs would prefer to be in a more well lit area or not so well lit area. Someone told me once they prefer shade.

You can always compromise. Overhead striplight during the day, and floating plants for shade.
Or are you talking about exposure to window light hitting the tank? If that’s the question, then the answer is shade.

No, It wouldnt be direct sunlight at all. It would be shade. Actually there will be little or no sunlight on the tank. I wanted to move them under my nightstand so I can hear them at night when they sing. I can’t put them atop it because my lamp and alarm clock are there.

I’m still debating.....be able to see them swimming around most of the day downstairs....or hear them singing on occasion upstairs.....it’d still be easier to keep them downstairs where they are closer to the freezer..there food is in there!
