 Feeder fish?

Just out of curiosity is it safe to get small guppies out of a creek and feed to the frog? From what I’ve gathered from everyone here is that Freckles is a baby bullfrog. Now he (or she) just got his legs last month and is still pretty small. My mother in law has a creek in her backyard and there are small guppies in it. Not tadpoles believe me I checked. Anyway the local pet stores don’t have any guppies small enough to feed Freckles so I was wondering if I shouldn’t try catching some of the wild ones to feed him?
Or is the risk of parasites to high?

You can buy fish de-wormers, and set up a small feeder fish tank to clean them up in if you want to be absolutely safe.
That’s funny. When I was shopping for feeder guppies, I couldn’t find any that were BIG enough! We need to trade stores.

You could also probably use whatever other frestwater baby fish the petstore might have. I think something like mollies (babies) would be safe to use.

I have a huge guppie tank full of guppies, the problem is, I have a small bullfrog to and he/she (it’s to young to tell) ignores them. you can also use small minnows.
