Ok, I know better then to be asking and not researching this stuff, But been really busy with our fish club and my duties there with a swap coming up,
But,
I would like to see some of your set ups you keep your dwarf frogs in...
and a few tips on foods other then frozen bloodworms....
Please tell your tank size as well,

Thanks frog people

There are some pelleted frog bites out there that some ADFs like. They can also eat left over fish flakes if you have them in a tank with fish anyway.

 Dwarf Clawed frogs ?

I just fed that tank a crumble food I get for my cichlids, and one went after it so I know they will eat that sort of stuff as well,
Anything thing I wanted more opinions on was subsrates,
Anyone keep them with a sand subs. and have no troubles?
I was told the only thing to worry about would be them injuesting it and bounding them up n die....
any thoughts?

Also, can you house these in a 2.5g or 5.5g tank?

I’ve never used sand for anything, if you could get larger stones, like marble sized I guess I think that would be better, that way they can’t eat it but you could still use fake plants.
I think it’s like a gallon per frog since they’re so small, so it depends mainly on how many you have. They’d probably like the bigger tank a bit more though.

I’ve not made up my mind as to what size tank yet they will land in and call home,
I only have two frogs right now, so I was figuring it to either be a 5.5 or a 10g....
I’m leaning at the 10g though, and it would be a planted tank with no fake plants,
My 75g planted has enough in it I can trim out and plant a couple tanks...
the only problem is the 10g has sand substrate now...
easy enough to get it out if I moved the fry from it, but just a pain to think about.

Something else I thouht of, are these dwarf frogs air breathers like the AFC?
I would guess them to be............

yeah they breath air like the ACFs

and yeah I’m also going to have to remove gravel from a 55 gallon tank for our turtle to go in...that is NOT going to be fun lol
