 My Lil Pixie frog

Hello all First time post, long time reader I have one Lil Q? I have my pixie frog in a ten gallon tank and i just got a 55 gallon tank to day and need some help on seting it up I like all the help if you can give me. thank you.

First of all, the cage must have a water bowl big enough for your pyxie to move around in. The water bowl should not be deeper than the frog is. Second , coco fiber is the only substrate that I would recommend for these guys. Because it does not cause impactoin and can be burrowed in. You must make the substrate deep enough for your frog to burrow in. Third, it’s your choice if you want to put plants in the cage but most pyxies will destroy them.
And last, DO NOT USE MOSS, GRAVEL, OR SAND AS A SUBSTRATE AS THESE AWFULL SUBSTRATES CAN CAUSE IMPACTOIN IF SWALLOWED BY YOUR FROG. Most people on this site well tell you moss is okay.....but it’s not.
Heres how I setup my 7 inch male’s 40 gallon breeder tank (note the frogs large water bowl) ...............





(The rocks are there to help him get into his water bowl)
