 Stupid question

Hi guys I need some advice on a very small fish tank. I know that some people may think it is cruel to keep an aquatic creature in a 1 1/2 gallon tank but I really want something water based and it’s my only choice. I’ve had my fair share of Bettas and think it is wayyyy to small for gold fish what else could I get? The tank has a light and I could add a bubbler to it if needed. Thanks!!

I’m not good as owning fish as I am with reptiles but im just getting a eel and use to have a koi. But are you planning to put another fish with the betta? And you should upgrage the tank to a 10,15 or 20gal tank so it’ll have enough room to swim...you know what everyone say "bigger is better" :)

 Stupid question

Sorry for the misunderstanding I’m not going to put another fish with a Betta. What I was trying to say is that I have had Bettas, goldfish, ghost shrimp before and was thinking of something different. If it matters the the tank is 3 1/2 gallons not one. Thanks
