 Coolest fish 10

What would be the coolest/strangest fish to keep in a 10 gallon tank?

Unfortunately, most of the "cool" small fish tend to be a little more difficult to keep, but some of my favorites are Bumblebee gobies(brackish), FW dwarf pufferfish, Killifish, and forktail rainbowfish.

You have to careful when buying Bumblebee gobies because there are two different types. One is a little more tolerant to freshwater, the other can only live in brackish.

Dragon fish do much better in brackish water. They can also get pretty big (some grow to 2 feet) so they would need a minimum of 50 gallons.

Don’t they get up to 30 cm? That’s a little too big for a 10 gal, isn’t it?

Yup, but a dwarf gourami is a feasible option.

If you are talking about dwarf gouramis then yes, one can live in a 10 gallon. Ideally you would want about 20g, but if you keep the water clean, then it’s do-able.

Dwarf guoramis are kinda mean if you plan on keeping other fish. I would go with a Kribensis. It’s a type of cichlid, but it is extremely passive. Check it out: http://www.justbajan.com/pets/fish/species/krebensis/index.htm

I have two male kribs that are 4 inches long each that will destroy anything in their territory. Also, not a good fish for a 10g. Minimum tank size is 30g.

But great fish nonetheless! One of my favorite cichlids.
