I have One question how long r guppies pregnant for I have two that look ready to pop but i dnt know

Guppies are a egg lying type of fish if I am not mistaken. So they will look pregnant, but they are just fat.

i know for a fact that guppies arent a egg laying fish because my sister had one for about two days before she had her babies live babies but she was pretty big when we got her so can any one tell me how long they are pregnant for?

guppies breed every 28 days if there is a male present so around day 20-27 start expecting babies
