 New 75 gallon cichlid tank

Just thoguht I would toss these out here, I just replaced my over stocked 55g with a 75g that my new girlfriend gave me a couple weeks back :) that’s a story for another time unless you really want to know :) but yeah, she is a fish keeper to so how cool is that ;)

But anyways, I got the thing up and stocked and rocked the other night,
Mixed Malawi stuff I have in there.
It’s an All-Glass Mega flow reeef ready tank, big whoop to a freshie......
After it cleared up a little from moving the sand over, the fish were sure happy
to have a bigger home :)

this is after I rocked it,

I love that you have one of those floating turtle logs in there, that’s a great idea and very nice for some surface cover and hiding place!

Thanks for the replys,
I didn’t know that log was a turtle log thing, I just knew a few of my cichlid friends had the smaller ones in a few tanks and some cichlids like hiding in there and for spawning reasons, Picked it up at our last club swap for 5 bucks....so I couldn’t pass it up.
It is the large one I have, and LARGE it is, was no way it was going into the 55g I had where this 75g is, so I had to put it in the tank before I slid it in on the stand.

As soon as I build a stand for the 125 I just got that is sitting in the front yard, one of the 75s will come down, really leaning at the planted tank coming apart for it, but still the thought of cichlids lingers in the back of my mind.
