 Rattle snake in oregon

Hey, um. I live in southern oregon and i just caught a baby rattlesnake. Iím not sure what kind it is. At first it looked like a corn snake but we dont get those here. THen it started rattling. Itís like a grey main color with sandy red hexagonal shapes on its back all the way down the body. Iíll try and post pics sometime. Let me know if you can think of anything. Thanks.

No diamondbacks in OR. Would be Northern Pacific rattlesnake which is sub-species of prairie rattlesnake. I do not know how people confuse rattlesnakes with other snakes??????? If you do not know waht it is you should not have it. Can someone say venom ER!
