Two of the larger snakes in CA.

This is a 74" gophersnake, missing 3-4 inches off her tail.

And a larger c.Organus nor pac rattlesnake, i wish i measure her, Iím going back to the den in Sept most likely she will be there.

Thanks Enjoy!

where are u guys getting all of these?! lol
im in Central California, and we have gopher snakes.
but only tiny ones, just a few feet in length.
and the only reason i see them is cause they like to eat my chicken eggs!
dang, i really need to get out more, lol.
that gopher snake is huge though, beautiful.

I have a hard time finding snakes myself. there are a lot of dogs and cats in my neighborhood though, so I just attribute it to that, as well as the fact that I am an absolute beginner.

Awesome photos. That N. Pac is just massive, gravid female possibly? I only saw two last fall. Really cool snakes.

Iím in Northern California myself, and I must say I love those huge gophers. However, I have seen all too many get hit by cars since they take up a good chunk of the road while basking.
