Try some woods. If they have a stream, you might have a bit more luck.

Back country roads with old abandone houses and barns. Flip the tin that has fallen from the roof. #1 way to find snakes..

Hands down the best way is to road cruise remote roads sorrounded by habitat most likely everglades wooded areas ,along the beaches is good too alot of snakes perfer coastal dunes as well ,u would be surprised how many species i have found along remote roads near sandy beach n mangrove habitats. species include racers,corns,scarlets, corals,n marsh watersnakes very cool. good luck
