I got to thinking about your tank. What is at the bottom of it? I found out the hard way (and a $40 vet bill) that sand is not good. Just use potting soil (the kind with out the little white pieces). Bake it at 400* to kill any parasites that might be in it. You can also use some kid of carpet, but mine likes to bury himself and hide so carpet was out for me.

I think it is a bit too crowded. If you remove the big stone and some of the sticks, it probably would be better. What I suggest is getting a hollow wood so the lizard can hide better.

It is a bit crowded. You should remove the stone and some of the sticks. I also suggest putting in a hollow wood so the lizard can hide better.

taking a closer look i spotted 3 lizards in there, you NEED a longer tank so each can set up their own territories, just because they are small doesnt mean they like small cages : ^ P

If you haven’t opened the bag yet then take it back and get eco earth or bed-a-beast. Calcium sand is bad for all lizards and should not be used.

i like sand better than wood chips cause wood chips are very likely to carry mites bad experience with my grass lizard died cause it had to many i tried to get them off you cant there were so many so yah no wood chips sand is the best only if its store bought
