 Lots of ?’s about western fence lizards

I got lots of these lizards out side of my house I was thanking about catching some and raising them and breeding them but I don’t know currently to much about them but I thank there so interesting I would like to learn more and maybe take them further into the reptile industry or just have interesting pets to have.

1. what size tank and how many can fit in it or how many females can you put together in one tank.

2. do the males have to be separated from the females

3. what type of lighting do they need

4. do they need a under tank heater

5. feeding how many crickets or worms each per feeding and how often to feed them every day or every other day and how often should they be powdered in calcium.

6. what kind of deco need to be in there with them.

now for my breeding ?’s

1. how many females to one male

2. how big do they need to be.

3. do I need to make like an egg lay box to go in there that the females can go In.

4. should the females get calcium everyday when pregnant

5. haw many clutches well they lay.

now for my incubation ?’s

1. how many eggs well the female have.

2. how high should the temperature be In the incubator.

3. can I put them in vermiculite and how high should the humidity be.

4. how many days from being laid tell hatching.

now for raising the baby’s ?’s

1. how much food and how often do they get it and how often should it be powdered in calcium

The size of the tank you’ll need depends on the amount of lizard you catch. For a a five gallon, you could probably fit 2-3 lizards.
I don’t recommend putting males and females together unless you want them to breed.
They don’t really need lighting, I don’t use anything for mine,and he seems content.
They don’t need a heater either, just make sure they get lots of sunlight. They will absorb heat that way.
They only need to be fed every other day depending on how much you give them, I’d say at least 1 cricket per lizard every day if they are smaller.
Also they don’t need their food powdered....they didn’t eat their food that way in the wild did they?
Some plants and a hiding place will suffice.
For now I wouldn’t try to breed them until you see how they adjust. Make sure to leave them alone for a week or 2. Just feed them and give them fresh water. You might want to consider making a cricket farm to if you are going to get
that many lizards. They are cheap to buy and easy to build. tell me how they do!

You can put a trio in a 20 long.
