 Did they lay EGGS???

Hey guys, the other day I was sifting the sand in my fence lizard tank and found what looked to be four eggs. I was cleaning the cage after a week-long trip, so I’m pretty sure I got to them too late. (if they even are eggs) They feel like little pieces of dried corn. Here’s a picture:

Can you guys verify that these are eggs and if so, give me some advice on what to do next time?

Thanks, Saphira

I wouldn’t feed them corn knowing that they are carnivores -- it is very exciting to hear that they laid eggs, even though I was too late to incubate them. I hear they only lay eggs once a year? How would I incubate them next time?

Thanks, Saphira

I heard they are called "slugs" or fake eggs, here you could find more information, despite this thread being old I believe it would be useful for you:
