 Sleepy fence lizard

I’ve had a blue belly swift aka western fence lizard, for shortly over a year. About a month ago, I noticed his lack of activity. He either lays on his log or lays beside his hot rock. He doesn’t eat-there are still two crickets in his tank from 4 days ago. I gently nudge him with my finger tip, and he stirs slightly, then goes back to sleep. Should I be worried about this, or is it his time to hibernate (very active all winter)?

if you don’t have a uv light it is probably mbd and it could be to late to treat it

You might be able to pep Bob up by exposing him to a few hours of actual sunlight every day. Be careful to give him access to shade, though, and dont put a glass tank in the sun, instead make a large tub with 1/8 inch wire like this:

And give Bob some morning sunbathing time. Watch your temps, as heat can build up in tubs, too, but less problems with morning light than afternoon light.
My lizards really enjoy their daily sunbathing in their tubs in the garden, with partial shade from the lemon trees. In the winter I will still be able to put them outside for some natural light except during the most inclement weather, during which I will use my Zoomed UVB 10 instead.
Don’t give up on Bob. A little natural light will do wonders.
