Were to but a fence lizard 
does anyone know were to buy a fence lizard i live in San Diego nationalcity i need a stoor that is close to me not far PLEASE just incase i lose my lizard

well i want a tamed one not one thats afriad of me and i heard the storys that the people have them on there shoulder and on thier head and i want that so i can have a little buddy right there with me and won’t run away when i try to grab it or touch it because i have a fish but they are sorta boring and i wanted a pet that i could play with and hold so if you know any body that knows were to but one in San Diego tell me PLEASE

i live in utah and have caught several. my latest is in a 50 gallon tank. i have only had 1 out of 5 that would let me pick it up. usually they run away until u get them. but once u pick them up they run around on my shoulder and calm right down. my latest one will actually fall asleep wjile i pet it

they don’t like to be held all that much usually. kenny is tame as all heck but some days he wants to be left alone or just run in his free range area. most of the time he likes being held, but not always. i got him at a petco that took lousy care of him so maybe that is an option or a reptile show/breeder? i find that he LOVES to be misted. if he gets nervous or jittery i give him a super fine mist and he looks up at me and i pet him gently, petting the water into his scales, and he LOVES it. he gets this "ooh yeah" face and then he struggles to not leave my hands or shoulder when i wanna put him away because he wants to keep getting pet.

I live in Lake Forest an hour north of you and they sell Easterns at my local Petco, maybe yours does too. But honestly, I prefer geckos though I do keep Westerns Fences too. If you want a tame lizard to chill with, I’d go with a gecko... :)
By the way, I’m possibly giving one away if you want one... Pick up only. I wasn’t planning on giving one away, I was going to put one up for about $20 on craigslist and get back a little of what I’d put in but I figured if someone wants one, I could part with one. I have way too many. If you do want one, it would be a high yellow female. Let me know.
