 WHAT IS A GOOD LIZZARD TO GET!

HI I’M NICKY714. I WANT A LIZARD AND I ALREADY HAVE ONE. IT’S A AMERICAIN BLUE BELLY. I THINK I SHOULD TURN HER LOOSE BECAUSE SHE LOOKS SAD AND LONLY, BUT I HAVE 110.00$ TO SPEND ON A NEW ONE. I HAVE A CAGE THAT IS MADE OF GLASS. ITS ABOUT THREE FEET IN LENGHT AND TWO FEET IN HEIGHT, BUT MY MOMS AFRAID OF LIZARDS AND I HAVE A CAT SO YOU KNOW WHAT. IT WOULD REALLY HELP IF IT ATE MEAL WORMS BECAUSE CRICKETS CHERP ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. CAN YOU PLEASE HALP ME OUT.

First of all, if your mom doesn’t want you to have reptiles, you probably shouldn’t get one. Second of all, you should never let a captive lizard go unless it was wild in the first place, and you shouldn’t keep wild ones for too long anyway. If you’ve had a wild lizard for longer than six months, you shouldn’t let it go as they become dependent on their regular feeding times, precise temperatures and lack of predators.

Also, you should probably start with a leopard Gecko. They are easy to care for, don’t require alot of room, are known for their great temperments, relatively small (won’t freak the crud out of mom), and really cool looking.

BBs can be good too since you can have a few in one tank and they don’t usually fight, are farely easy to handle and care for, lax on temp requirements, durrable and beautifull, and eat practically anything.

Remember, do TONS of research before you buy anything.

And please lay off the caps, it’s terribly annoying.

I have two Eastern Fence Lizards and for as long as i’ve had them they’re great pets and eat ants and mealworms and and are easy to care for. But i have’nt had them for a while you might not want to take my advice??

how big are they if they are full grown i wouldn’t feed them ants i would feed them crickets because there fat and very good for lizards

if your worried about the noise of the crickets just go to petsmart or some place like that and you can get a box of dead gut loaded crickets thats what they like.
Also when fully grown they get around half a foot or maybe bigger i think... but i know not over a foot.

yes im a fan of bearded dragons they are like a huge fencie i love them or a leapord gecko they are cool and cute and i used to have mine sleep on my shoulder hy i watched tv in memory of boogy the leapord gecko 1999 to 2003
