Breeding-mice question
I two male and female white mice to breed. After the momma has the pinkies, what do I do? I heard the dad will eat the babies so do I put the babies and the momma in a seperate cage or will they be okay with the dad? Please reply!

Breeding-mice question the dad MUST be removed. sometimes the two mothers will be okay together. sometimes not. that should be watched closely since it can lead to death of pinkies. but the dad always has to be separated.

Breeding-mice question Actuallly it depends on the mice themselves and the size of the tank. Ya never know, I have found out after several years. If the pinkies are in jeopardy, I either remove them and freeze them, or I remove the offending mouse to other quarters. Just keep in mind, that when these mice live apart too long, they will never get along again.
