my hedgehog ate a peice of bedding!
will it hurt him?

the day i got my hedgehog, my dad also got some rats, and he bought a cage that didn’t work for the rats, so he switched my hedgehog into the rat cage, and put the rats in the hedgehog cage.
my dad was useing carefresh, and so my brother rowan was watching him, and said he ate a peice of bedding!

sometimes it looks like they are eating it when they are really just chewing on it

i would just switch bedding if you are worried

switch to aspen shavings or try potty training and then you can put towels/blankets down

what was wrong with the cages that they wouldnt work?

personally i think its better to use fleece as bedding :) easier to clean and less expensive. just shake the dropping off outside and toss it in the washer
