Ah wow i quite like that! Do they have to wear special collars like the Greyhound?

They have a similar issue with slipping out of regular collars since their heads are usually the same size if not smaller than their necks. Not sure the 2in martingales are necessary, but he sure makes them look good :)

... he is actually only wearing a 1.5 inch collar in those photos. Gives you a better idea of his size

I just wasn’t sure if they needed the same neck support either. I have to say i think a dog (of any breed) looks smarter in a wide/chunky leather collar, but thats just me lol ^^

Cool collar. And Mars is looking handsome as always. Martingales are my favorite kind of collars. I don’t have any cool, thick ones like you though. Lol

Ghastly: to my knowledge, the neck support is not needed as many Silkens use the smaller collars or regular ones.

Repfanaticlady29: haha this is my first fancy martingale (just arrived in the mail today!) and I never thought I could be so excited over a collar!! The particular company I bought this one from boasts a life time replacement policy incase any damage occur (chewing or otherwise) and its lined with fleece to protect the fur!! lol im getting all jittery just writing about it.

Are you talking about Lupine? All my dogs’ collars (except the puppy’s) are Lupine. I can take the collars to any store that sells them and get a new one. Don’t even need a receipt. Lupine is my #1 brand. Too bad they don’t make leather collars.

I got my collar from http://www.allhoundsapparel.com/home.htm

I liked that they give a 10% of proceeds to shelters and rescues nation wide (or so they say)
