 Green Iguana tail Shriveling

I have a 11 year old female green iguana, her tail is shriving for the tip, its not dry or blackening but the skin up the sides is sunken in. I am treating for dehydration because it doesn’t look like tail rot to me please help.

This would have been better posted in the green iguana forum. However, it still could be dry gangrene. I suggest you have a vet look at it and see if she needs a tail amputation.
