 Iguana tail

Hi There, I am new to the forum and would like to know if anyone can tell me what is wrong with my Iggie, (Iguana) tail. it looks dried out and is rock hard.

what could be the cause of this and is there something I can do to get it to normal again????

Please can someone help as I am really worried????

This happened to Kismet, our Cyclura. It was dry gangrene that formed after a minor injury and that portion of her tail had to be amputated. You need to call a local reptile vet in your area. What kind of iggy is this? Can you post a pic?

Marley got this as well. He is missing the very tip of his tail. I agree that your ig should see a vet and soon because it will continue to spread up the tail further if it is ignored.
