When in doubt, keep your cricket eggs

My crickets laid several hundred-thousand eggs about two months ago, but they hadn’t hatched in a month (supposed to hatch in about two weeks), so I threw the dirt into my snake’s cage... Today I looked at the terrarium to find several pinheads running around inside! Not as many as I was hoping for, but a few is certainly better than none. (I think they dried out too much once I put them in the terrarium.) So if you are keeping cricket eggs at 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, keep them for a few months even when it seems nothing is going to hatch.
