 Trying to breed crickets

Hi...a quick couple of questions! I’m finding comflicting info on how long to leave the soil box in with the adult crickets...2 days? 7 days? What do you recommend? Then, if I cover it, should it be a loose cover so air can get to it or a tight cover? When do I take the cover off...at the first sign of pinheads?

Thanks!

my advice is leave soil in with adults 7 days. I put a tight cover with just a corner unsealed fo about 5 days over direct uth.I loosen the cover and leave it like that while hatching. No need to water soil while cover is on tight. moisten as needed while hatching.
