 Trouble in Egg Laying Bins

So I have successfully been breeding 1000s of crickets for several months now. I am only having one problem. Inside the egg laying bins, around the time of the eggs hatching, there are tiny little white dots all over the bin. If you look closely the dots are moving. These little dots then attack the crickets when they start hatching. I still end up a ton of crickets but, I’m not sure if this is bad for my dragons. I don’t understand how the get there. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyway to get rid of them without hurting the crickets. They seemed to stay in the bedding but to day I noticed groups forming on the paper towels. Please Help!

What are you using for the bedding in the egg bins?

I’ve never used Eco Earth.

First I tried potting soil, which it generated gnats out the ying yang.

So I switched to sterile vermiculite. Only thing I got out of it was the crickets.

It can’t be the water you’re using to keep the Eco Earth moist, so it has to be the Eco Earth.

I would switch.

I like to bake the media that I use for laying. It sterilizes it and helps keep out the unwanted pests. Don’t now if that works with vermiculite

Checked on the vermiculite thing and it is used in high heat situations and it can be sterilized and reused
