 Cricket Temps

Does any1 know what the highest temp. crickets can endure?
I have wanted to start breeding some in my closet outside, if I have to keep them inside they drive me nuts with all their chirping!

LOL...you are in Arizona...I doubt they will take the temps well there...but you might get away with it if you use a larger 105 qt tub and lots of soil that stays cool towards the bottom.

I think they can do about 95-100 but that’s really pushing it. They will grow very fast at these temps and die off early.

Since Arizona is a hot region, they shouldn’t really need any lighting.. If anything a small 15watt bulb at the most, or even a UVA/UVB Bulb to add light in there if you want. Getting the crickets to hot (95-100 degrees) for to long with dehydrate them, and they will start to die out. Make sure they have a well supplied water and food source as well.

Good luck bud,
See Ya, Cody.
