 Corn snake layed eggs

I found this snake a couple weeks ago and brought it home for my son. Had no idea she was pregnant but the other day she layed 14 eggs. I did the research and moved the eggs to a moist container but they began to collapse a bit. Are they too far gone to worry about keeping? I work nights and they were probably layed for up to 20 hours before we could get them moved. Just wondering if we are wasting our time trying to hatch them. Thanks John.

Try putting a moist paper towel on top of them for a while, that works for me...
