Young corn in sterlite.. burrows in aspen, do i need hides?

i have two small baby corns, each in his own small sterlite containers..im using aspen bedding and a small uth on one end... the babys are burrowing under the aspen bedding... not a lot of room in containers for hides... if they are hiding under the bedding can i get away without a hide at this age? they don’t seem to be using it as they are burrowing..

I’d still put a hide in it.. it doesn’t have to be a huge one.. I found my like to squeeze into their hides until they are bigger.. Makes them feel safe I thing. How big are they?

tiny tiny...no bigger then a pencil..... I might put a papertowel roll in each one...will cut them in quarters and put two in each sterlite container
