 Please help baby garter has swallowed 2 wood chippings!

So I fed him a pInky he grabbed and 2 wood chippings were stuck on it so he ate them aswell they were abouts half the size of the snakes width will he be okay please help!!

It’s hard to say. Just watch your snake for the next few days and make sure it takes a dump. If not, it will be impacted. It just depends on whether the snake can pass the wood or not. Just relax for now and learn from your mistake. Next time put the mouse on a plastic lid or paper towel so the bedding isn’t under it. Or you could feed your snake in a different container, but some get stressed when you move them. If your snake doesn’t pass the chips, try giving him a warm soak daily for about a week. If it hasn’t cleared up by then, take it to a vet. Maybe they can be removed. But make sure you give your snake at least a week to pass the chips before you try anything.

I would suggest switching to walnut hall substrate its the little brown garnuales. because as you have unfortunately experienced it tends to happens and with the walnut hull itll pass safely

walnut hull is bad for ALL reptiles
