#2261338 Phyrefly717 View Profile	Banshee’s in blue... (my first shed) On Sunday I pulled Banshee out for her daily handling and weekly feeding and I noticed her eyes had gone milky blue! I went ahead and offered her a hopper (which she promptly snarfed down after a lil trouble finding a good starting point) and while she was still in her feeding bin I went ahead and set up a moist hide on the cool end of her tank. I’ve left her alone for 48 hours + and I’m just waiting to see when she molts. About how long does it normally take? It’s about 2-3 days from in blue, right? >.>

(my first shed) 3-4 days after the milky eyes and the underbelly will go pale, that’s a sign that shedding is about to coomence. My little amel is actually going into her first shed (or at least in her time with me) in a few days as well, her body’s dull, I expect to see her eyes go milky in a day or two. Make sure to keep the humidity up by misting the cage often, and you can provide a humid hide filled with moist sphagnum moss.

Completely intact, no snags, tears, or coming off in pieces. ^_^ And I think her pattern has changed a lil bit too... Is that normal? >.>

If she’s still a baby or juvenile then pattern changing is normal. If she’s an adult, it’s not usual, but nothing to be afraid of, either. Amber’s eyes turned milky today, so I’ll be misting her cage for the next few days.

(my first shed) From what we are guessing is that she is slightly less than a year old... So still a baby... It looks like she’s developing more of the zig zag pattern! ^_^ it’s going to be exciting to see how she turns out over the next few years. :D
