 My new baby!!!!

This is my very first snake, Shakira, or Kira for short. I think she’s adorable. she was sold to me as an okeetee.

her setup. very simple, with cardboard hides, but it suits her. and the lamp is just for light purposes.



And HER!! haha she is beautiful.

really? Oh well. she’s still pretty haha.

i have a question. how can i keep the humidity up if im using aspen litter? i don’t want it to mold and my snake is nearing a shed.

aspen litter is the BEST posiible substrate!
all you need is a water bowl and accasionall take him out and put him in a tray of water. (or spray him down)
But not in cage, I have known humidity in tank to cause Respatory infection
