 Another IMPULSE buy!

Hey friends!

I just wanted to announce my purchase of a pair of Avalanche Corn snakes (Snow Bloodreds). I don’t have any pics yet ’cause they’re still at the store so that I can get their setups ready. I just couldn’t resist the purchase as the price was just TOO good and I didn’t want to come back and find them SOLD! I know I’m getting quality animals as the folks who own the store I’m buying from are great folks who know their stuff.

I’ll post pics as soon as I get them.

WHOO HOO!!! You all can’t imagine how happy I am! LOL.

Good news, Fred! Can’t wait for pics - although I might have to wait till we’re back, as we’re off to the US on Saturday, flying to Denver and then going to Wyoming and Utah (Cheyenne, Jackson, Salt Lake City and Moab). I can’t wait - and southern Utah should be almost as hot as Arizona anyway! So if I don’t see them before we go, I’ll look when we’re back on 24th. They sound lovely.

Well, I’m not sure that I should post the price, but it was a REALLY good deal. Esp. when you look on some websites and see a pair selling for an excess of $300.00. I wanted to pick them up today, but will probably do that tomorrow. Their setups are almost complete! LOL.

Well, I actually brought them home today! They’re getting used to their setup, so I haven’t taken any pics yet. Will probably give them a couple of days to settle in, then I’ll take the pics to share with you all.

Well, I’ve finally got pics of them! Here they are!

Killer Frost 1 - She wouldn’t hold still!



Killer Frost 2 - Still moving around too much!



Mr. Freeze 1 - I know... I need a better name for him. But Mr. Freeze was better than P.P.



Mr. Freeze 2 - Much calmer than his future mate.



Mr. Freeze 3 - Last one for now... Hopefully, wife and I can take better pics of them tomorrow with better lighting.



So, what do you all think? I think they’re great!

Emeraldman - Thanks! I’m not sure about the yellow... I guess Bekers71 is the one I would ask. How about it Bekers? My guess is that he’ll always have some yellow on him...

Bekers71 - The belly of Mr. Freeze (the one with the yellow) is plain white... just like a snow bloodred should be, right? I was concerned at first about them being Avalanches and him having the yellow, but when I saw the plain "bloodred" belly, I was less concerned. They’re supposed to be "snow bloodreds". Is there something I should be concerned about?

My snow (Hiro) has definite signs of patterns on his belly (just held them both to confirm).

When I saw all the yellow I was a bit concerned you had been taken. I would really like to see a picture from above though. To be honest, I’ve never seen an avalanche with that much yellow. Not saying there aren’t any, just I personally haven’t seen them. Maybe others on here have seen them like that. If so it would be interesting to see pics of them.

Like I said, though... my concern vanished when I saw the very plain white belly.

And, just for kicks, my 4 year old "snake-loving" son, Isaac!

Thanks, Bekers! So your concerns are settled, then? LMK, ’cause while I’ve had snakes for a few years now, but I’m NOT an expert in watching/matching morphs. I do plan on learning lots, though! LOL.

BTW, the two new ones are in! They’re so tiny! I’ll probably have to get smaller tanks for them as they are just oh, so small.
