 Any one hear about the newly discovered snake?

i just saw on the news that they discovered a new type of snake. i guess its the smallest snake in the world. heres a link to it Link

I was reading the article on it only 4 inches long
a little on the small side for me but it was a neat looking little snake

Yeah I seen it in my local newspaper. It fits on a quarter. They don’t think they have a lot of them. Their probably going to go extinct they said. :[

wow that is so damn cool!!! I don’t watch tv and havent seen anything in the paper here.Really sucks about becomming extint hopefully they can find more and hopefully breed them. Thanks for sharing!!!

Wow! It’s so adorable! And very pretty for something that small. I liked the second picture better, it looked like it had an orangish stripe, where the other was nearly solid brown. Cool!
I hope they can preserve the species from extinction...or at least find a male and try to start a captive collection for zoos. I bet you could keep that snake in a 2.5 gallon tank it’s whole life and it would still be too big! lol!
