 Image size?

whats the ideal image size for uploading pictures to the site??

I deal image size should be under 200k. I believe I set it for slightly higher then that. Using a resolution of 640x480 while taking photos would help assure they will not be too big to load. I have to set a size limit or the server will get bogged down.

what size is/are the pics you are trying to upload?
If you are trying to post on this site... you can have a pic as small as 415 x 378 and one as big as 800 x 800 and it will resize both to the same in post... so you don’t have to have a huge pic of anything... not to mention the amount of memory just a pic is taking up...
I use PhotoBucket... it’s a web-site for storing pics online... and you just link to there and you don’t have to upload every time you post...
