 I’m in love!

Ok - we’ve decided Fluffy is so much fun we should look at getting her a buddy!
I’ve found a very handsome friend for her. Problem is I only think Fluffy is female and I only think the the new one is male. Is this risky? Also, Fluffy is about3 1/2 months old and about 7 inches, and the new dude looks about 6-7 months and 9-10 inches. Is this too big of a size difference??

Help!!!

I really want this, but if it’s not going to be a good thing I won’t do it to Fluffy.

Thanks, What about the size difference?
Oh, by the way.....
I did it - we now have what I think is a male, named Mocha-latte! Ha ha - guess what color he is?
Is it normal for them to be very wary of each other in the beginning? I think they’ve even nipped each other once each.

Also, what size of a tank do you have them both in? If they continue to fight, you may have to separate them.

Totally cool awesome radical. Glad t hear someone else love the big headed bundles. As far as size goes, that amount shouldn’t be a problem, as long as you know thier temperment. IF they be hatin, then don’t expect them to be datin. Let alone moving in together. List off your details so we have a better picture whats going on jsut in cas, (plus its totally fun hearing about how other people keep their animals). Heck, the next step up would be to include a pic of your enclosure so we can see what you’ve done with the place. But seriously, feel free to tell us your tank size, temperature (hot side and cold side, as well as night time tiemp.) what you are heating with, what form of lighting you are using, substrate used, and what kinds of hides and deco you have in there. Mainly the temp and size, the rest is for enquiring minds. Congrads on your new family members, and can’t wait to hear the ’tails.

OK - Busy week for us lizard wise....
We got Mocha who is bigger than Fluffy and the first day they were not too sure! Fluffy sleeps more than Mocha and didn’t appreciate losing some zzzz’s. For such a small thing she sure had some attitude. Mocha just looked like a big goof trying to get her to like him!
The same day my son’s crested gecko Shadow died. Why? I wish I new. We had her for 4 years. He went to the local pet store and fell in love with a 10 month old Bearded Dragon......so we now have Pongo too!
Everyone is doing great. Here are some pictures. No pictures of the Beardie yet - will add soon.

I think the larger one is male - is that bad?
The breeder he came from said it should be fine as long as I make sure the smaller one gets enough food.

Oh - I was also told if they were going to fight they would have done it by now. They seem to like each other and unless they aren’t getting enough food it looks good. I guess that wouldn’t be true if they happen to both be males though. Fluffy the little one totally looks to be female. Mocha the larger one has all the markings for a male.
