 Are they hard to care for

ive heard that u looking at them makes them stressed and they cant get held and are very hard to care for is this right ? thxs

That information is correct. They are "eyes" only pets. The less handled the better. Their husbandry requirements are critical. High humidity followed by dry periods to decrease bacterial growth. Drippers and misting to get them to drink. UVB lighting, day-time heat and basking lights in ventilated cages. They are, however, amazing to watch-from a distance and almost addictive. One of the most peaceful herps on the planet. Do a lot of homework and then do some more. Set-up your cage at least a week before you get your cham and double check your humidity, lights, water delivery system and plan on devoting several hours per week to cleaning/maintaining and watching your cham.
