 New Jackson’s Chameleons

I recently got two Jackson’s chameleons and the female is eating just fine the male whom is smaller only eats about one medium cricket a day or a small wax worm. I’m concerned because he is staying in the shadows and just wants to sleep all day. Could he just be adapting to his new environment? I just got them Tuesday morning and it is now Thursday afternoon. I know that it takes a long time for them to adjust and feel comfortable but could something be wrong?

He could still be adapting or it’s the bigger female that’s the problem, its the feeding that’s bringing me to this conclusion.

 New Jackson’s Chameleons

He’s doing much better now but he’s still a bit dehydrated and keeps one eye closed. I’ve read that’s a sign of dehydration and I’m taking them to the vet on Monday
